Restoration Update #9: It's beginning to look a lot like a building

We have made great progress over the last week as we approach the end of the year. We’ve had some unexpected delays due to longer than anticipated manufacturing times and some building issues - not a huge surprise since the building is almost 200 years old! We are now hoping to have the work completed in early February.

Since the last update, the windows have been fitted on the Cuddy Lane side of the extension, the plastering throughout the building is almost complete and the first phase of the AV fit out has been completed. The chairs have arrived from Spain (thankfully pre-Brexit!) and the acoustic panelling that hides all the services around the main hall is in place, pending some finishing touches.

We’re really grateful for the continued support and we’ve now raised £28,000 out of our £40,000 target.
