Restoration Update #6: Bricks & Mortar

Cuddy Lane Exterior with pre-cast bricks and boundary wall

A lot of progress has been made in the last two weeks. The exterior wall on Cuddy Lane is almost complete, with scaffolding expected to be removed next week. The pre-cast brick looks great on the new extension and the whole place is starting to look more like a building rather than a building site. The interior is starting to take shape with the main hall plastered and cornicing to be completed soon. The repairs to the old North Extension roof have been completed and the final formation of the roof will take place in November. The new South Extension will be insulated and plastered over the next few weeks, ready for final finishes towards the end of the month.
